We were first brought into the Rocky Road universe to design character avatars for a mobile game called Polo.
At the time, the concept of the game was taking inspiration from family-friendly, wholesome, immersive worlds such as Animal Crossing and Nintendo’s Miiverse. The other style inspiration we were asked to draw from was the Oh No Softie font, branding that was intended to feel playful, social and approachable.
From there, our journey with the Rocky Road team lead us to design not just avatars, but clothing, concept art, rewards, and entire worlds.
